A lot of times, just closing the app, playing something else, and coming back a day later will make a level easier to pass. I keep other phone games installed, though, so I'm not tempted to spend when I hit a wall in Gardenscapes. There are mini-levels near the beginning with the sad people and pins to pull, but they're not the main gameplay, and they disappear at the higher levels.Īs far as enjoying the game - I still like it and play it every few days, even after so long. Like the others said, it's mainly a match-3 game with some garden decoration on the side. Also, playing on weekdays has better bonuses than weekends if you're trying to stockpile, play only when the "Treasure Hound" bonuses are active. You get one free booster every day, plus more from events, so you can sit on a hard level for several days and stockpile boosters if you're stuck. I've spent a tiny bit in that time (maybe $20 USD total?), but I don't think it's necessary if you're patient. There are some levels that are pretty hard and Ill spend weeks on them, or buy the power up disk with extra firecrackers.
